This district has almost all types of properties. What is more, Mokot\u00f3w has quick straight connections to Warsaw city center. \u00a0Mokot\u00f3w was incorporated into Warsaw in 1916. The name of this part of Warsaw came from the village called Mokotowo, which appears in documents from the year 1367. <\/div>\n<p><!--more-->Most of the area was urbanized in late 1920s and 1930s. Mokot\u00f3w is located on the west bank of the Vistula River.<\/p>\n<p>Population of this district is estimated at 225 000 people. It is a&nbsp;densely populated area. Mokot\u00f3w\u00a0 hosts huge part of Warsaw\u2019s office space and is often referred to, as the modern part of the city. But Mokot\u00f3w is more than that. It also hosts many embassies and ambassadors\u2019 residencies, also National Library and the biggest ice skating track called Stegny. Moreover, Mokot\u00f3w has a&nbsp;wide choice of theatres and cinemas. The biggest shopping centers there are Sadyba Best Mall and Galeria Mokot\u00f3w.<\/p>\n<p>While the following subdivisions haven\u2019t got any formal, or administrative status, they are recognized by people in Warsaw.<\/p>\n<p>G\u00f3rny Mokot\u00f3w (Upper Mokotow), Stary Mokot\u00f3w, Wierzbno Ksawer\u00f3w, Wygl\u0119d\u00f3w, Kr\u00f3likarnia, S\u0142u\u017cew, S\u0142u\u017cewiec, S\u0142u\u017cewiec Przemys\u0142owy.<\/p>\n<p>Dolny Mokot\u00f3w (Lower Mokotow), Sielce, Czerniak\u00f3w, Siekierki, August\u00f3wka, Stegny, Sadyba.<\/p>\n<p>Mokot\u00f3w is popular among the expats, simply because it has all they need.
